Unfortunately, many people including children, families, and seniors in the L-A area are food insecure, meaning, in part, they don’t always know where or when they will have their next meal. Everyone needs and deserves to eat. If you, your family, or someone you know is facing hunger, it is important to seek help. The L-A area has several soup kitchens that serve nutritious hot meals and food pantries that provide some staple food items to take home. Some of these organizations also provide additional services/programs.
